Marketing Manager
A highly motivated Marketing Manager is sought who is passionate about creating compelling and engaging content and leading marketing campaigns to build awareness and drive sales in an exciting D2C environment.
Role Overview
- Lead all marketing initiatives, including overseeing various marketing channels, generating content for campaigns, copywriting across channels, and communicating with PR/media.
- Plan, design, and produce brand content across various platforms.
- Author on-brand copy for the website, social media, newsletters, blog articles, and press releases.
- Oversee social media strategy and daily operations, including planning, creation, and posting of content to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Support all website updates.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media Studies, or other related disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in digital, marketing/advertising, and/or graphic design or related fields.
- Outstanding writing skills; ability to effectively communicate information in a written and verbal format with customers and partners across multiple channels, including newsletters, blog articles, social media captions, press releases, and customer inquiries.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other similar design tools.
- Penchant for results-driven, effective visual communication tailored to each platform’s tone and audience.
- Proven ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and complete responsibilities in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment with minimum supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work and manage deadlines.
- Ability to actively listen and liaise with clients in a professional manner, taking pride in exceptional customer service.
- Startup mentality: comfortable working in a small team, wearing multiple hats as needed, and proactive mindset.
- Ability to travel for business trips preferred.
- Conversational-level Japanese preferred.
- A passion/growing appreciation for cooking and/or being a foodie at heart.
- Experience in photography, filming, and/or editing is a huge plus!
